127 Advocates Pray for Partners

Whitney Constien

Whitney Constien

127 seeks to connect and equip the global body of Christ to work together to empower vulnerable communities. As we work to both equip those who we refer to as advocates and connect them to the work of our partners, our philosophy provides four primary opportunities for advocates to engage in our work: Praying, Giving, Going, and Growing.

One 127 advocate, Whitney Constien, roots her advocacy in prayer – doing the work of intercession for 127 partners who work in vulnerable communities. Read some of Whitney’s recent prayers below and hear how some of our partners responded when we shared those prayers with them.

Thank you so much for the work you have done at Tumaini. I praise you for the return of alumni last month, what a gift to the current students! May your name be praised through all the days at Tumaini. We love you, Jesus. In your name I pray, Amen.

Rose’s Response:

“This came at the right time, just when l needed it. Thank you so much, it’s not easy to have people who are devoted to stand out with you, l am humbled. You are such a passionate team that God has set a part to stand in the gap. Thank you so much. My heart is filled with joy and happiness, you are a blessing.”

David’s Response:

“Today, I have received a big surprise that brought me to tears, but of joy and gratitude to our Lord for His grace and for answering those prayers. I only heard that many were praying for our ministry, my family and life. But now I understand and everything makes sense now to me, because I have felt every single of your prayers with peace. I have no words to express my happiness of knowing there is an army praying to our heavenly Father. I praise our Father for answering every single prayer request in His time, and for providing those men and women of prayer!”127 works to keep advocates up-to-date on the prayer needs of our partners, their work, and the individuals they have given their lives to empowering.
