Staff Role

As the Director of Operations, my primary responsibility is to turn everything into a spreadsheet so it can be analyzed. I help oversee staff, goal setting and tracking, finances, strategic planning and I provide constant comic relief.

Why is this work important to you?

The thing that gets me most excited about working with 127 is the focus on empowering local leaders. I love that we partner with locals who are already doing effective gospel work in their communities. Joining in what God is already doing is a joy and a privilege!

Fun Fact / Hobby

Dad of 3 girls, 2 through adoption. I love being a girl dad! When I'm not wiping glitter off of surfaces or making spreadsheets, I enjoy playing music, reading and collecting vinyl records.

Staff Role

As the Alumni Relations Coordinator, I provide support resources for our mission project volunteers and facilitate long-term engagement between our alumni, 127 Worldwide, and our ministry partners.

Why is this work important to you?

Sara Beth pitched the idea of 127 Worldwide to me in 2010 and I wrote it down on a scrap piece of paper while I was living in Kenya. I knew from that moment that I would be involved in some capacity. In the spring of 2016 I officially joined the 127 staff. Our work is important to me because it exposes us to the heart of the gospel. As God restores hope to the vulnerable, we get a front row seat as we participate in His Kingdom work.

Why is this work important to you?

I value 127’s aim to aid and empower locals engaging widows and orphans in gospel ministry. Their desire to champion and further what other brothers and sisters are already doing around the world is what initially drew me to them.

Staff Role

Partner Relations Coordinator (primary liaison with our international partners)

Why is this work important to you?

Becoming a member of Imago Dei Church and hearing about 127 and an opportunity to go to Kenya. Being part of a local church that values orphan & widow care and justice ministry. The work is important to me because I am reminded that it is gospel work and believers are called to love and help meet the needs of poor and vulnerable people. It helps to be part of a local church where you are surrounded by people who put the gospel into practice.

Fun Fact / Hobby

I like to cook/bake and try new recipes. Italian Cream Cake is my favorite.
